Sangiovese

The grapes were planted in 1979 and actually this Sangiovese is the ancient vineyard of the farm, still in production. The training method is the GDC, a technique made to help mechanical operations in viticolture, really rivolutionary at that time. Today the vineyard coveres an area of 1 hectar, with about 2.500 plants, that produced Sangiovese, which is perfect to complete the 2 Rosso Piceno wines of the farm, Galliano and Cugnolo. Excellent sun exposure, (South oriented), the vineyard is located on the top of an hill, with an elevation of 50 meters over the sea level.
